Blitz Nights
Diamondback Chess Club has always been dedicated to filling the unfilled needs of the chess community in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. While frequent rated events were rare when we started, Albuquerque's chess community has been thriving recently! Something we are a bit low on now is frequent rated blitz, so Diamondback is working on setting up new monthly Blitz events for the Albuquerque area! We are also working on a FIDE event and looking into organizing more all ages bughouse, all age unrated events, and more!

Looking for weekly USCF Rated Regular games in the Albuquerque area? Check out Albuquerque Chess Club at the Slice and Dice Pizzeria on Wyoming and Manual every Thursday from 5:45pm-8:45pm for G/25d5 or G/30 USCF Rated quads!
Looking for weekly USCF Rated Quick games in the Albuquerque area? Check out Empire Chess Club at the Jason's Deli on Paseo del Norte and I-25 every Sunday from 5:00pm-9:00pm for flexible G/15d2 USCF Rated games!
Looking for weekly Unrated games in the Albuquerque area? Check out Coronado Chess Club at Frontier Restaurant on Central and Cornell from 7:00pm-10:00pm for two G/25d5 paired, but not rated matches!
